Polen Capital Asset Management (PCAM) has announced the appointment of Sophia Krüger as Senior Assistant and AI Strategy Specialist. In this role, Sophia is dedicated to advancing the integration of financial technology and artificial intelligence into investment processes, supporting the firm’s global initiatives in AI-driven portfolio solutions.
Sophia graduated from the Technical University of Munich and began her early career in the risk management division of a well-known financial institution. In 2016, inspired by the breakthrough of AlphaGo, she shifted her research focus toward the intersection of AI and finance. She later joined an investment management firm, where she contributed to the development of a reinforcement learning-based dynamic asset allocation model. Her work was instrumental in achieving the first BaFin (Federal Financial Supervisory Authority of Germany) certification for the A1 Credit Evaluation System.
Today, based at PCAM, Sophia actively leverages her strong foundation in financial theory and comprehensive investment frameworks to integrate advanced AI and quantitative models into portfolio strategies, supporting investors across diverse markets.
