Michigan Author Troy Gagne Shares Faith, Family, and Life’s Meaning Through His Books Jesus And Me and A Well Within

MICHIGAN – Oct 29, 2026 – Author, husband, father, and poet Troy Gagne is bringing his personal experiences, faith, memories, and reflections on everyday life to readers through his books Jesus And Me and A Well Within.

A longtime lover of family, music, travel, and writing, Gagne draws much of his inspiration from the experiences that shape ordinary life. His work reflects the joys and challenges of relationships, the importance of faith, the impact of memories, and the lessons that can emerge from difficult seasons.

For Gagne, writing is not simply about putting words on a page. It is a way of reflecting on life and sharing experiences that readers may recognize in their own journeys.

Jesus And Me: A Personal Expression of Faith

Jesus And Me marks Gagne’s first book and introduces readers to the faith-centered perspective that has become an important part of his writing.

The book reflects Gagne’s personal relationship with Jesus and his understanding of faith through the experiences of everyday life. Rather than presenting faith as something distant or complicated, the book focuses on a personal connection with God and the role that faith can play through life’s different circumstances.

Through Jesus And Me, Gagne invites readers to consider their own relationship with faith and the ways spirituality can provide direction, encouragement, and hope.

A Well Within: Poetry Rooted in Life

Gagne’s creative journey continues with A Well Within, a poetry collection that explores a much broader landscape of human experience.

The collection moves through themes of faith, love, family, memories, loss, relationships, loneliness, personal struggles, hope, and redemption. The poems are grounded in everyday experiences and observations, giving readers an opportunity to see familiar aspects of life from a reflective and poetic perspective.

Some poems look backward, exploring childhood memories, family traditions, old friends, music, and the passage of time. Others confront more difficult subjects, including emotional struggles, regret, loneliness, uncertainty, and the challenges of moving forward.

Faith remains an important thread throughout the collection, with poems reflecting on God, Jesus, prayer, grace, forgiveness, and the search for hope during difficult times.

Writing From Real Experiences

Much of Gagne’s inspiration comes from his own life.

He has shared 29 years of marriage with his wife, Kim, and together they have built a family that includes three adult children and a son-in-law. Their children now live in different stages of life, with a son in Texas, a daughter in Tennessee, and a daughter still at home in Michigan attending high school.

Family continues to be an important source of inspiration for Gagne, as does traveling with Kim to visit family and experience new places throughout the country.

His love of music also influences his writing. Gagne’s poetry contains reflections connected to country music, musicians, memories, and the storytelling tradition that has long made music a powerful part of people’s lives.

These influences come together in A Well Within, where personal experiences become poems about the people, places, emotions, and moments that leave lasting impressions.

Finding Meaning in the Ordinary

One of the defining qualities of Gagne’s work is his appreciation for ordinary moments.

A family memory can become a poem. A song can bring someone back to another time. A difficult experience can lead to reflection. A moment of loneliness can become an opportunity to think about faith and hope.

Through his writing, Gagne encourages readers to look more closely at their own lives and recognize that meaning can often be found in places we overlook.

His books are ultimately invitations to reflect to consider where we have been, what we have experienced, who has shaped us, and what continues to give us hope.
