Los Angeles, CA — Jack’d announces the release of “Moments,” a new in-application feature that enables users to share temporary photo and video content for up to 72 hours. The feature is designed to support real-time visual communication while maintaining structured privacy controls and user-directed visibility settings.
Moments introduces an additional layer of interaction within the platform environment by allowing short-lived content that automatically expires after the designated time period. The format supports timely sharing without long-term permanence.
Feature Overview
Moments allows users to publish up to eight active posts simultaneously. Photo and video uploads are supported through device camera functionality or gallery selection. Each post remains visible for a maximum of 72 hours before automatic removal.
Audience selection tools include:
- Custom Lists – Content visibility can be limited to selected groups
- Direct Send – Individual sharing with a specific recipient
Responses to a Moment initiate a direct message thread within the platform interface.
Privacy Controls
The feature includes structured privacy safeguards:
- Accounts that have been blocked are restricted from viewing posted Moments
- Screenshot functionality is disabled
- Additional audience management options are scheduled for future release
These measures are intended to support user control over content visibility and interaction.
Platform Integration
Moments expands existing communication functionality by incorporating temporary visual sharing alongside profile-based interaction and direct messaging. The addition reflects ongoing development efforts focused on evolving user engagement formats within digital social platforms.
Availability
Moments is now available within the Jack’d application. Usage guidance and feature instructions are accessible through the in-app support resources.
