Carl N. Merkle Releases KIDNAPPED: A Memoir of Faith and Injustice

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Carl N. Merkle has released KIDNAPPED: A Memoir of Faith and Injustice, a nonfiction memoir examining his experience with the U.S. bankruptcy court system and the questions of faith, authority, and justice that followed.

The book centers on Merkle’s account of being taken into custody on December 6, 2021, in a federal bankruptcy courtroom. Merkle presents the incident as a turning point in his legal case and personal life. The memoir addresses what he alleges occurred that day and connects the event to larger questions about the role of courts, government authority, and constitutional principles.

KIDNAPPED is organized in two parts. The first section reviews selected moments from U.S. founding history, including religious and constitutional references connected to the Declaration of Independence and the U.S. Constitution. The second section focuses on Merkle’s personal story, including his bankruptcy case, related filings, and his interpretation of events through a Christian framework.

The book also references public Supreme Court docket numbers 24-6088 and 25-6192, which Merkle identifies as part of the record connected to his case. In the manuscript, Merkle states that his experience led him to examine the relationship between human courts, divine authority, and the legal foundations of the United States.

Merkle describes the book as a condensed and updated version of earlier court-related writings. He also connects the release to the 250th anniversary period of the United States and public calls for prayer and national rededication.

KIDNAPPED: A Memoir of Faith and Injustice is now available for readers interested in legal memoirs, faith-based commentary, constitutional history, and personal accounts involving the court system.
