New York, NY, USA Pastor James Constable, dedicated servant and Pastor of Victory Baptist Church, is set to release his powerful new daily devotional, The Narrow Way: Walking Daily with Jesus. This 365-day guide serves as a bold challenge to believers across all stages of their journey to choose intentional growth over comfortable complacency.
The book is a direct response to the broad way. A path of control, selfishness, and following human traditions, which often distracts Christians from true discipleship. Constable’s work emphasizes that the only way to safeguard one’s faith is through pure, focused, and daily devotion to Jesus Christ. The messages within the book act as a vital daily check-in, designed to protect the reader from spiritual drift and draw them into a life of holiness.
A cornerstone of the book’s spiritual enrichment is the insightful Name of God reflections. Recognizing that a deeper understanding of God’s character leads to unwavering faith, Constable dedicates time to exploring the biblical names and attributes of the Lord. By meditating on names such as Jehovah-Jireh (The Lord Will Provide) or El Shaddai (Almighty God), readers are encouraged to shift their faith from a mere intellectual concept to a deeply lived, practical reality. This attribute-focused approach provides the foundation needed to face life’s complexities with confidence.
The Narrow Way also provides comprehensive contextual support through its Did You Know sections and Bibliography snapshots, enriching the reader’s understanding of scripture and history. It is a devotional built on the principle that God’s thoughts, not man’s, are the sole source of life-changing inspiration.
Pastor James Constable is inviting readers to stop settling for a faith that merely seems right and instead commit to the narrow path. A life defined by purity, focus, and the power of Jesus.
